Saving Christmas

Saving Christmas.

Once upon a time there was a little dragon. His name was Drago. For his mother he was just Drakosha. He lived in the country inhabited by dragons. Like all dragons, he waited for Christmas. In this country all young dragons used to sing a song to the owner of the cave and get a candy and Christmas Dragon puts some toy under the pillow. Drago really liked to go out with his friends to wish a Merry Christmas  to   everyone.

Morning came. Drakosha woke up in a good mood. His mother Zira said: "Son, I have to tell you something terrible.There will be no Christmas". "Why?", Drakosha asked almost crying, " I wanted to go to our neighbors." His mother wanted to say something, but Drakosha interrupted her. "Why there isn't Christmas?" he asked with a sniffing nose. "Christmas Dragon was kidnapped by the evil witch Volturi. And now the whole country is thinking how to save him", Zira said. Drakosha could not find any word to say. And suddenly he got one brilliant idea. He went to his best friend John. Drakosha told John everything and John said: "Are you sure your mom will let you go to the edge of the country, where there are endless rains?" "And why did you decide that I am going there alone? We will fly together!" Drago said. "I'm sure your mum will not let you go and mine too", John said. "But I want to save Christmas Dragon and I'm flying with you".
They flew back home, and while their mothers were busy with household chores, they got everything they need  for their journey. They agreed to meet at the mountain, which divides the country into two parts: good and the other, where cruel and greedy witch Volturi ruled.
So they met and dangerous adventure started.

 
They flew very high. They flew above the clouds, thick and black.
Zira wanted to ask her son to fly  for greens to his grandmother Rada. But when Zira saw a note on the table, "Mom, I'm sorry that I left without your permission, but I must save Christmas", Zira immediately realized what happened. She flew to Leonna, John's mother, and told her everything. They went for the children.
While their moms were to start the journey, John and Drakosha got into trouble. Volturi caught them and put them into a deep cave. Leonna and Zira saw their children and wanted to pick them  up while the witch was busy, but the children said that without the Dragon they will not go away. Then they started to think how to save him. And they got an idea! They remembered that witches do not like light, so they live in darkness. Not far from a large stone there was a small piece of glass. And they reflected the light of the lightning. The witch vanished and  Christmas Dragon was saved. After coming back home, Christmas Dragon gave Drago and John candy bags, thanked moms for  good education of his young rescue friends. Dragon opened Christmas and everyone was happy. Merry Christmas!
