The modern world, we live in.

         The modern world, we live in, is undoubtedly multinational and multicultural. Even at school we are taught to respect the rights of other nations to be independent countries. However, nowadays some of the countries, to be precise, their governments strive to make certain nations and peoples live the way they think are better for them. But there always are people that speak against the authorities. It can result in a series of local conflicts and even terrible wars all over the world.

       It is really horrible because all the people on the planet Earth want to live in peace. They dream of a blue peaceful sky over their heads and a happy future for themselves and their children.

         Our country Russia has always been a guarantee to preserve the rights of other nations to be independent ones, that was proclaimed in all the papers of different international organizations. But we have always striven to do this in the most peaceful way ever possible. We do not want any wars in any parts of the world because our own country was taught really severe lessons in the past.

          This year on the 9th of May our country  celebrates the seventieth anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the war of great fear, huge loss and endless pain. It was the war that carried away an enormous number of human lives, the war that changed the lives of great number of people in the whole world. We must remember everybody and everything. Nowadays some people from different countries make certain attempts to rewrite the history of the Great Patriotic War but we are the nation that knows this history from the very bottom of our hearts and we are proud of our heroes and compatriots – participants of this war. Some people don’t understand the importance of this event, which I think is disrespectful. In my opinion, the Great Patriotic War is one of the greatest events  in the world history and we must remember those who performed this exploit. . 

I believe it is the time for all the people in the world to understand that the newest modern technologies that are in our hands will be able to destroy our fragile world in a few hours. So we must understand that modern people are responsible for future generations.
