ENGLISH WEEK

The English Week was held in our school from the 13th to 18th of February. The most important event during that week was the "Music flash mob, guess the melody." The purpose of the activity was to get acquainted pupils with different styles of music, with the performers of both Russian and foreign songs, we were striving to show the importance of music and to attract interest to the English language. The importance of music was featured in the first minute:

• music provokes emotions: laughter, tears, happiness, sorrow
• it is a source of inspiration, it gives strengths and hope
• it is therapeutic, great stress reliever
• it has educational value, increases intelligence

 Guessing musical styles and artists were very interesting to the audience; those present at the concert hall watched the performance with admiration, actively participated and supported the speakers. The final performance of students, dancing together, caused a genuine delight and smiles on the faces of the audience. That event was the most memorable and significant event in the life of the school. Of course, a good event would not have succeeded without responsible and active students in our school. Active participators in that event were Agaeva Allada 11B, Kornienko Olga 11B, Terenteva Olga 10B, Ahtyamov Rinat 10A, Gadzhibekova Elvira 10A, Lyashenko Anastasia 10A, Iskam Anton 9V, Imerukova Alena 9V.
