Mountain Shoria

My motherland is Mountain Shoria. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Mountain Shoria - it's a green area where primordial nature, enchanting mountains, rapid rivers, endless taiga. For surprising beauty of the nature this land is often called the” Siberian Switzerland”.

Mountain Shoria occupies the southern part of the Kemerovo region. Geographically it is a part of the Altai mountain system. It is a medium-altitude mountain, intersected by two rivers - Mras-Su and Kondoma. There is a whole periodic table in the depths of it. It has acutely continental climate.

In winter the Mountain Shoria is a ski resort; in the summer is a good place for active summer holiday. Summer in Shoria - is a range of exciting routes children, young people and older people, special family routes, which allows you to choose a vacation according to your desires and training.

If you choose a place where you can have fun and rest in the winter, Sheregesh is the best place for it. The snow is soft, non-sticky, crumbling into millions of snowflakes. I like to play snowballs and make a snowman there. Shoria in winter - it's downhill skiing and hiking. It has repeatedly held professional and amateur championships Russia in downhill skiing.

If you like spending your spare time in any mysterious and exciting place without any superfluous expenses, I recommend you to visit a fascinating high mountainous touring-complex Mounting Zelenaya.

The ski slope is supplied with the slopes for skiing and snowboarding, gondola lifts and funiculars, skiing schools, for the children. Add to it you can find here a hotel complex, bars, restaurants and Russian baths.

Every winter my mother and I visit this complex to keep fit. Usually my mother likes skiing and I rise in funicular and admire nature. If you use a ski lift, you will see mighty mountain with their coniferous forests and you can enjoy clean and fresh air. Then we sit in a cafe, drinking tea and warming ourselves.

You may not believe it but the most interesting and attractive for people here is Yeti!  Yeti -is a snow man who lives in taiga. By the way, the hunters tell that they’ve seen something like yeti and his big foot. As for me I don’t believe it but sometimes I am afraid of it.

So, if you have an opportunity to visit Mountain Shoria, I advise you to do it!

Be sure! You won’t see anything like anywhere.
