My thoughts about sport
Everybody knows that sport is an important part of healthy lifestyle. Sport is probably as old as the humanity itself. It has been developing and growth of the mankind. All over the world people of different ages are very fond of sport and games. Sport not only helps people to become strong and to develop physically but also makes them more organized and better disciplinedin their daily activities. It makes a healthy body. Sport help people to keep good health.
We all need exercises. This is true for young people as well as for adults. Even if you don`t plan make sport your main occupation. Regular exercises gives you more energy. That is why many people who suffer from general tiredness should take more exercises than more rest. Exercises makes you feel and look better. The best exercises is one which involves in repeated monements, those are: walking, jogging or swimming. Bending and stretching will add flexibility and feeling of lightness.
This is my opinion and I feel it is true. Fortunately, there are many opportunities nowdays to do different types of sports. First of all, we always have lessons of physical education at school. Boys and girls play volley-ball and basketball at the lessons. There is a sportsground near our schooland schoolchildren go in for sports in the open air. A lot of different competitions are held at schools, a gereat number of pupils take part in them. All participants try to gey good results and become winners.
Secondly, from the very childhood I attend art gymnastics. It`s one of my favourite types of pastime. I`ve had several teachers and all of them were highly professional.
When I was 4 years old, my mother took me to the sports school of art gymnastics. Now I am 12 years old and I have category «candidate of sport». During this time I travel in many towns and get different rewards. It was difficult and interesting at the same time. For Russia gymnastics is a national pride. As for me — it is in my heart all my life. Another sport that I enjoy is fitness aerobics. Izm just amateur and I often go to the class of fitness. When I go in for sports I feel wonderful. I don`t sneeze and cough. I`m cheerful, active and full of energy. I try to do some training almost every day. In summer I go swimmimg. I enjoy spending winter holidays in the cottage. There I can ski.
I`m not the only sport lover in our family. My younger brother is also keep on sport. His favourite sport is sambo and ballet dancer, he is really goodat it. Though he is doing sport first year, but he has some achivements.
Besides doing sports, I like watching different games on TV. Every winter, for example, I watch figure skating, skiing and hockey championships. In summer I enjoy watching football and rowing. Besides active games, there are also some other types of games which also refer to sports, among them chess, backgammon, billiards, air hockey, bowling and others. When I have free time I play these games with my friends. I don`t think there are any types of sport which I don`t like.
Wise people say that good health is a great blessing. Everyone should do all possible to stay healthy. Being in good health means having both body and mind in good working free from diseases and pain. There is a truthful Latin proverb: « A sound mind is in a sound body.» If you want to keep yourself fit, you are to go in for sports!
