Hello! I am Lera. I’ve just read the interesting book about butterflies. They are my favourite insects. When I was a little girl, my family visited a Park of butterflies in my native city Novosibirsk. There I understood how beautiful these creatures are! The fact that they do not sting or bite, are brightly colored, and do not become pests in people's homes has something to do with why most people enjoy seeing them fly around and would seldom think of killing one (as one might do with other insects thought of only as "bugs"). One of the most interesting things about butterflies is their unique life cycle. When a butterfly changes from a slow-moving, fat caterpillar to a colorfully winged, beautiful flying insect, one of nature's most magical events occurs.

I had a dream to become a butterfly just only for one day! My grandma told me a fairy tale. I remember it as a lesson. So, here it is.

Once there lived a caterpillar in a garden. She was small and green. Every day she saw big and beautiful butterflies. The caterpillar wanted to fly. But she didn’t have wings. She was very sad. She hid into the cocoon and fell asleep. She was sleeping for a long time and dreaming. In her dreams she had wings and she was flying, flying. And then the caterpillar woke up. She felt that she had something on her back. She moved and saw the wings, real wings. She turned into butterfly! She clapped her wings and fly. If you want very much, your dreams always come true.
