Спорт очень важен для здоровья! Наша школа № 629 очень гордится своими учащимися-спортсменами. В стенах школы воспитано много знаменитых людей. Одна из них знаменитая биатлонистка, олимпийская чемпионка -Ольга Зайцева.
Она каждый год приходит к нам на встречу, рассказывает о важности спорта в жизни, о необходимости преодолевать себя в различных трудных жизненных ситуациях. Эта работа посвещена ей.

Olga Alekseyevna Zaitseva was born on May 16, 1978 in Moscow. She began her career in 1994. She studied at school number 629 and went in for skiing in sports school number 43 which was next to it. Her father was a pilot, her mother was a kindergarten teacher. Olga has two sisters – Elena (1976) and Oksana (1973). Her sister Oksana is her personal coach. When Olga studied at our school, she was an excellent student, she was notable for patience and endurance. Now she comes to our school every year and communicates with pupils.

Olga got married a Slovak biathlete – Milan Augustine. Their wedding was on September 30, 2006. On March 17, 2007 their son Alexander was born. She is a very beautiful woman with a pleasant smile and kind eyes.

Zaitseva has won two gold medals and one silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games.

She meets with the pupils and teachers of our school every year, answers pupils‘ questions how to become famous and win a gold medal in the Olympic Games, and gives advice how to achieve a success. She says, “To be successful, you should work hard, be disciplined and have only one rival – you”, and adds, “The strongest country in biathlon is Russia”. We are proud of her and proud that she studied at our school. As for me, teaching makes my heart go on and go on faster and faster. I follow her advice to work hard… I think that the most intelligent country is Russia. She will win this medal in Sochi!
