The Russian, Ukrainian, Czech and Greek experts have taken part in creation of an architectural ensemble of the Cathedral of Transfiguration of the Saviour .

The Icon-Cases Icon-cases with silvering and golding is established amazing with the greatness and beauty in a cathedral. It high-raised shrine was executed by the Moscow masters from the best Russian icon-painting a workshop "Image". The icons paiting (more than150) is executed in style of the Moscow school of the 16 centurie . Icons of masters of the 15th-18th centuries presented by the archbishop Kursk and Rylsky Yuvenaliy , the Belgorod customs and foreign firms have been entered into icon-cases.

The Sunday School The Sunday school is organized in February , 1997 on blessing of the archbishop of Belgorod and Stary Oskol Ioann . Archpriest Evgenie Sapsaj , the decent of Spaso-Transfiguration cathedral and Gubkin district became the spiritual head and the instructor of the school .

United With the Same Aim The purpose of spiritual education is to fulfill the divine potential of children, and to prepare them for life by giving them the tools needed to keep on learning throughout the many experiences that will come to them. Another purpose of spiritual education is to build the person on all levels. We are triune beings composed of body, mind, and soul. In the education of our children, we need to help them develop their characters and their minds, but we must also help them prepare for living successfully in this world.

The Sunday School Every year about 70 children from 7 till 14 years old are engaged at school . Pupils are trained in two age groups : younger and senior . Education is four-year .

The Sunday School The main event of the second half of the year of education at Sunday school is Easter . The service on Forgiving Sunday has a great educational value . This day the lessons are not held and pupils are present on evening divine service .
