Сказка "Alice in Wonderland (a story about Simba)"

ALICE IN WONDERLAND (A STORY ABOUT SIMBA)

Alice, the little beauty, decides to go on a trip to a beautiful valley. There she plays the whole day. When she is tired, she falls asleep. All of a sudden, Alice sees a rabbit running. He is carrying a big watch in his hand.

"He is smartly dressed. I think he is going to a party. Let me follow him," says Alice to herself. Alice follows the rabbit. Then, they reach a tree with a big hole in it. The rabbit enters into that hole. Alice follows him into the hole. As soon as she steps in, she begins falling down deep.

Alice is afraid and closes her eyes. When she stops she opens her eyes and sees a beautiful village. There is a nice house in the village. She wants to enter the house. She comes to the house and knocks at the door. The door opens and smiling old woman asks:

Who are you, pretty girl?

I am Alice. I play in the valley. I lose my way. I don’t know anybody in your village, let me come in.

The woman lets Alice to come in and gives her a cup of tea. The woman’s name is Margo. She lives in this house with her husband. His name is David.

When Alice comes in, she sees many pictures of a little lion in this house.

Why are so many pictures of the lion here?- asks Alice.

And the woman tells her an interesting story…

When  her husband  and she were young they didn’t have children. One day they found a little lion in the forest. The lion was blind and couldn’t walk. They took him to their house, taught him to speak and called him Simba. He grew  fast, was clever and didn’t catch other animals. When he became big, he went for a walk in the forest himself. Every time after his walking, he returned home, but one day the lion didn’t come home. Two weeks David and Margo looked for Simba, but they couldn’t find him. They were upset. They cried and waited.

One morning Simba returned home. He wasn’t alone. A beautiful girlfriend was with him. She was a lion too and Simba loved her very much. Her name was Rita and Simba wanted to marry her and lived in the forest. The man and the woman saw how happy  their lion was and let him go.

Alice listened the story and cried.

Why did you let him go?-asked Alice.

Because he is an animal and he must live in the wild. But don’t be upset. Simba doesn’t forget his human family. He and his wife visit us very often. And soon they will become parents.

Suddenly the door opens and David comes in. He is happy and shining.

I have  very good news! Our Simba is a father! Rita gives him two little lions –a boy and a girl. Let’s go and see them!

Margo, David and Alice go to the forest, where Simba and Rita live. When they see babies, they can’t keep their tears. How little lions  look  like Simba many years ago. It is so sweet and tender-lion’s family and human’s family together!

When they leave Simba’s house Alice suddenly sees her familiar rabbit, she says “ Good-bye” to Margo and David and runs after the rabbit. But in a minute rabbit disappears. Alice looks for him and calls him. But nobody answers. Alice goes and goes, but there is nobody here. It is dark and cold in the forest. She wants to eat and sleep. She is afraid. But all of a sudden she trips over a stone and hits her head and goes black out.

When she comes to conscience she finds herself in the place where she plays every day. She is happy because she has a dream only, but she remembers the  story about Simba and smiles.
