A clever monkey

Once upon a time there lived a little monkey. The monkey’s name was Alice. She liked to jump and to run. Alice always wanted to eat. She liked bananas.

One day a green crocodile came to the monkey and asked her to jump from the tree. The crocodile was hungry and very

cunning. He wanted to eat the monkey.

But he didn’t know that the monkey was very clever. Alice said that “When my friends are hungry they always eat bananas. I can give you some bananas if you want”.

So the monkey and her friends began to throw bananas into the crocodile. He got very angry and started climbing the tree. The monkey and her friends were afraid of the crocodile and began crying. Soon a group of hunters came. The crocodile saw them and ran away.
