Audrey Kathleen Ruston was born may 4, 1929 in Brussels. She was the only child of Joseph Victor Hepburn Ruston. If Audrey had two half-brothers: Alexander and Jan van Ufford from the first marriage of her mother with the Dutch nobleman, Hendrik van Afforda . Hepburn attended private schools in England and the Netherlands. Her mother was a strict woman, my father was more good-natured, so she preferred it. He left the family when Audrey was a child. In 1945, after the war, Hepburn ends aramsco Conservatory and moved to Amsterdam, where she and her mother worked as nurses in a veterans ' home. In parallel with the work in 1946, Hepburn takes ballet lessons from Sonia Gaskell , but I realized that won't succeed .Hepburn's mother worked at aristocrat for degrading conditions to feed their families.
