Tambov Region: Past, Present, Future

 I would like to tell you about the river Tsna. It is an integral part of the Tambov region. Its length is 451 kilometres.

 As far as I’m concerned, in 1914 the Tsna had many stunning boat piers. It was a navigable river at that time, even streamers sailed along the Tsna to Morshansk. By the way, there was an island of El Dorado on the river where people could go for a walk among the huge oak trees.

 Another interesting fact about the river is that the section of the Tsna between the dam and the Crooked Bridge was once called Bystryanka. Nowadays it sounds like a joke. Frankly speaking, the river clean-up is very expensive for the regional budget. That is why it has been abandoned.

 In my opinion, the Tsna will be considered suitable for shipping again in the future. The government should definitely find a way to raise more money in order to make the river cleaner, and build new boat piers. In addition to this, I would like to see new incredible drawbridges that people can walk on and enjoy the amazing views that open up to them.

 In conclusion, I strongly believe that the past, present and future of the Tambov region is equally magnificent.
