Wilhelm Richard Wagner born on May 22, 1813 in Leipzig. His father died early. The family was on the verge of poverty. But little Richard studied at various church schools, then at the university. The boy was interested in music all the way through his education.

Musical legacy The period of his active activity can be attributed to the period from 1832 to 1883.Wagner regarded his art as a synthesis and as a way of expressing a certain philosophical concept.
