1. Introduction.

The Internet use is an integral part of every person's life. A full life of a modern person is impossible without it. With the help of the world wide web we communicate, study, receive information, make purchases, use payment systems and all our data is there.

Using a nickname is an integral part of online life. For me, it should be versatile, with the possibility of long-term use. I am really interested in this theme but unfortunately, we do not have a chance to know more about it at school. So, I decided to find more information and make my own unique nickname and use it in the Internet.

So, I’ve run into the problem: I can't create a nickname for myself because I don't have a separate source of information on this topic.

The purpose of my project is creation of a presentation as a separate source of information on the topic "Nickname as a kind of modern anthroponyms."

The project’s product it a presentation on the topic "Nickname as a kind of modern anthroponyms".

According to the foregoing we hypothesize: “If we go into question of Nickname to understand origins, operation and find out ow to create it properly, so we can establish that Nickname is one of a special species of modern anthroponymies”.

The object of my research is the nickname as a special anthroponomic category. The subject of research: semantic, morphological and word-forming, graphic characteristics of nicknames.

1. Find and select the necessary information in the literature and the Internet.
2. Determine the method for creating nicknames.
3. Conduct a survey among friends and acquaintances.
4. Find information on the Internet, social networks about the nicknames of famous people.
5. Develop your own algorithm for composing a nickname.
6. Make a presentation that meets the criteria.
7. Prepare to defend the project.
8. Project protection.
9. Assessment of their activities in the project.

Anthroponomastics (or anthroponymy) is the study of the names of human beings. Different linguists explain this term in various manners, but all of them are sure, that anthroponymy is a proper name.

Anthroponymy also anthroponymics or anthroponomastics, from ἄνθρωπος anthrōpos/ 'human', and ὄνομα onoma / 'name') is the study of anthroponyms, the proper names of human beings, both individual and collective^[1].

        Nickname is an informal name for someone or something, especially a name that you are called by your friends or family, usually based on your real name or your character^[2]:

The name is the right of every person to be a person. Anthroponymy is a science that studies personal names, anthroponyms - names of people (personal, surnames, patronymics, nicknames. Recently, people had a unique opportunity to choose a name (and not even one!) when using the worldwide computer network - the Internet.

I am very interested in nicknames, because now almost all teenagers have them. Internet communication is a process of linguistic activity, where information is transferred from the author to the recipient using an electronic communication channel. In Internet communications, computer proper names are called as follows: nick or nickname, domain name, login.

Most likely, the starting point of the history of nicknames can be called the time of the appearance of the first unix-systems, where nickname was the name for entering the system.

Most often, nicknames are needed in the following virtual societies: email, social networks, thematic forums of interest, personal blogs, online games. The interlocutor who maintains communication in the Internet space is impersonal; his name, appearance, character are not known. All that the interlocutors know about each other is the name.

At the beginning of my work I made a list of questions for my classmates, friends and teaches to find out what do they know about nicknames and what nicknames they have. (Attachment 3). Most of them have know idea how to make a good nickname, most of them use names and surnames. So I was interested to know the main principals of nicknames, their history and proper ways of forming. What are the main basic requirements?

Basic requirements for a nickname

 1. Nick must be associated with this person. There are many names that are repeated many times on the Internet. For many users who spend most of their time online, the sound of a nickname becomes dearer to its own name. Therefore, the choice of a nickname should not be approached lightly, it is necessary to come up with something unique.

2. It is desirable that the nickname sounded bright, emotional, expressive and original, it should evoke a reaction from the interlocutors. People around you should react to this combination of letters or words, regardless of whether it is mistaken or it is a provocation.

3. Nick is a self-presentation, a sign of self-determination of personality, it must correspond to your self-esteem.

Ways to create a nickname. (Attachment 2)

1. Nicknames formed from the surname or first name. Usually just a first name, less often a name + surname, even less often a name + patronymic, very rarely a full name. Sometimes all this is written in Latin letters. There is an option when the name is indicated in full, and the surname is only one letter.

2. Nicknames that reveal a user's traits or mood with such nicknames, a person either characterizes himself or wants to laugh. Of course, these nicknames do not speak about the real characteristics of a person. These nicknames express a high degree of independence from the opinions of others. If it is very important for a person what they think of him, then he will never take such a nickname.

3. Nicknames that associate the user with a certain type of animal or plant.

4. Nicknames associated with the names of heroes, musicians, actors the names of movie characters, literary characters, film actors, athletes. The owners of such nicknames strive to be like these heroes. The reason for choosing this or that hero is a certain resemblance to the hero. For example, external or psychological similarities, or similarities in biographies, professions, etc.

5. Nicky, the user of which associates himself with something in order to impress.

Structurally, all nicknames can be represented as 2 groups:

1.Mono component (Penguin, Forget-me-not ***, Tenderness)), Kiss ...)

2.Poly component (Girl Shock therapy, Character_Tin, Yark @ I Zvezd @)

A nickname is really a kind of self-presentation of oneself to the Internet community. People very often use nicknames so that no one will recognize them. The choice of a nickname depends entirely on the individual psychological characteristics of a person, his intellect, imagination and sense of humor. Most often, there are nicknames based on a fictitious name or a name taken from someone.

The choice of a nickname is influenced by the general culture of the person himself, his professional affiliation, age and social status. It seems that research of this kind is very promising, since the Internet is becoming an important source of information about a person, both personally and professionally.

As a result of the work done, I can create a nickname for a person of any gender, age, occupation, intelligence.

Having identified the problem, setting the goal, defining the project product, developing the criteria for it and the work plan, I started to implement the project. Having studied the material on the Internet, books, brochures, I selected the necessary aspects and the necessary information for my work necessary to create a presentation. After browsing many organizations on the Internet and learning from the personal experiences of teens, I included the necessary information, facts, reviews, screenshots in my presentation. I structured the information, thematically distributed it within the presentation, and finally got the finished product.

4. Conclusion.

In the project work, I:

1. Defined the concept of nickname.
2. Analyzed the variants of nicknames of participants of Internet communications on the example of their friends and world stars, made their classification.
3. Created the presentation " Nickname as a kind of modern anthroponyms".

As a result of the project work, I came to the following conclusions:

1. The nickname is actually relevant these days. Without it, life in the modern world is unreal.
2. With the help of my work, my acquaintances, friends, and teachers will be able to create a nickname that will be relevant in Russia and other countries.
3. The presentation I created meets the developed criteria.

         As a result of my research the following conclusions can be drawn:

1. we can establish that Nickname is one of a special species of modern anthroponyms,
2. every person who deals with the Internet needs his unique nickname,
3. nicknames help a modern person in virtual communication in various sites, confirming his individuality,
4. we can create our personal nicknames correctly with the help of work,
5. I can create nicknames and help my classmates, teachers and friends.

So I can tell that I’ve confirmed the hypothesis given at the beginning of my work.

The goal of my project has been achieved. In the future the students of my school can use the presentation in their English lessons.
