Introduction

Muiskiy Region, far and immense!

You attract me, you are a magnet.

There were lots of brave guys indeed

     Where would you like to spend your time with use for your soul and your body? There are many tourist routes everywhere, and a plenty of really stunning landscapes, but I’m sure that every person in our world is dreaming about the time when he or she could visit our beautiful Siberian land, see different landscapes and great amount of animals and birds, try very tough northern climate and get acquainted with the traditions of Buryat people.

What do we need for that? Just visit our Muiskiy Region.

   The idea of working on this topic came up to me while I was watching the video about one of the tourist routes in Great Britain. The creators of that video desired the nature of that place and I understood that we have a lot to show tourists. Our land is famous for gifts of nature, affluent rivers, lakes, beautiful views, steep mountain slopes, different species of fish, animals and plants.

 The aim of work is to work out three-day trip from Irkutsk to Taksimo

Tasks:

• To find out which kinds of tourism can be developed in Taksimo
• To find difficulties of the development of tourism
• To work out three-day trip to Taksimo
• To find the costs of this trip from Irkutsk to Taksimo

1. Possible types of tourism in Taksimo

The first question which I was asked by myself when I decided to start this work was: what can we show the tourists? How could we attract their attention to our land?

     Muiskiy Region is located in the northern part of our country, that’s why the climate here is the tough one. Winters are cold with dry frost. In November and December the main snowfalls can be seen here. But the second half of winter is almost snowless. Springs are very windy, with little frost and often without fallouts. The summers are short with hot days and cool nights, heavy rainfalls in July and August are usual. Autumn comes invisible, without sharp weather changing. Sometimes it can be long and warm. Our lands and soils are rather fertile, that’s why we can develop the agriculture.

The air in our region is very fresh, clean and fine. The water is crystal sheer. To my mind, this place is ideal for tourists. That’s why it’s necessary to develop such kinds of tourism as medical-sanitary tourism, cultural tourism, rural tourism, active tourism, ecological tourism, religious tourism, educational tourism and children tourism.

I hope that people will come here to cure.  For that purpose it’s necessary to develop balneological resorts, where the main factor must be mineral water. Besides, we can create mud resorts which can be connected with mineral water resorts. Tourists also will be able to take part in active sports: skiing, hiking, horse riding. The most popular nowadays is ecological tourism. People from many countries have an opportunity to visit one of the cleanest part of our country, which is untouched by civilization. Besides, the educated people are interested in other countries’ culture and traditions. Cathedrals, mosques, churches, religious centres are very popular now. That’s why, I think you everybody will be interested in visiting Taksimo as a spiritual center.

  Some words about rural tourism: it’s main feature is that the tourists could live in special camps or villages. They can have full contact with nature. During their stay, they can watch the country life, walk round the place, study flora and fauna, climb mountains, have a rest near lakes. Traditional cuisine is available, there will be master-classes.

 If you want to watch the most interesting corners of North, enjoy nature, study lives of far towns and villages, you have to visit our place!

2. Three-day-trip to Taksimo

    As you know, Taksimo is situated far from tourist routes and the area around it is very remote. That’s why I think that it would be expedient to use a plane to bring the tourists to Taksimo because this mean of transportation is very fast and can prevent people from severe tiredness during the long journey in a train or in a car. But the returning to Irkutsk will be organized by train because we can give the tourists opportunity to admire the beauty of our nature from the train window and visit Lake Baikal during their stay in Severobaikalsk.

    Well, let me introduce three-day trip to Taksimo that was worked out by me.

Day 1.

11.00 – arriving to the Taksimo’s airport from Irkutsk. Accomodation in the hotel “Tsentralnaya”.

13.00 – Dinner in the café “Nord”.

14.00 – Bus excursion round the town. Visiting local museum.

16.00 – Free time (resting in the room, walking, shopping)

18.00 – Supper in a coffee shop

19.00 – Entertainment (together with “Veras”)

Day 2.

9.00 – Breakfast in the café “Nord”.

10.30 – Travelling to “Irkutsk caves” by bus (ecological path)

(climbing the mountain, the descent from the mountain, picnic near the river Kelyana )

 18.00 – Supper in a coffee shop (+ entertaining activities)

Day 3

     9.00 – Breakfast in the café “Nord”.

     10.30 – Travelling to the col Irakinda, picnic near lake Ulto

     18.00 – Supper in a coffee shop

Dearture by train  «Tyinda - Kislovodsk»

The cost of tri:

Tickets (by plane, by train) – 5.530+4.000= 9.530 руб.

Accomodation in a hotel  (3 days, 2 nights) – 7.000 руб.

Transport expenses – 900 руб.

Meal – 3.000 руб.

Guide service – 3000 руб.

The services of an animator– 2.000 руб.

Total: 25.430 руб.

1. Possible difficulties of the development of tourism

          But there are some difficulties which we can face while developing of our project.

Forest fire is a real disaster. As a rule the reason of the fire is careless handling with fire, or so-to-say human factor.

Poaching is one of the most important problem of this region. It’s impossible to find out the scale of the poachers’ loot . They kill musk deer, Manchurian deer, omul, grayling, seal ruthlessly. According to the statistics our flora and fauna reduced a lot.

The way to Muiskiy region is a great challenge for tourists. Railway road and plane can’t provide the appropriate delivering of travelers to our region. The development of roads could help in it, but it needs much money.

Conclusion

     Muiskiy region is very interesting with its history and culture. Nature is very rich and various: thick forests, high mountains, valley and rivers! All these things you can watch with your own eyes, get unforgettable emotions. That’s why I am sure that tourism is the best way to develop our territory.

     But as you can see, the expenses are rather high and it would be not especially profitable to travel to my town. We would like many people to know about our place and visit it. We love our motherland.
