Nowadays, water consumption is growing, but it is becoming less and less. The source of fresh water is small and large rivers.
Small rivers are a supply of drinking water. Springs are an important source of food for rivers.
So the theme of our research is “Springs in trouble”.
The purpose of our research is learn to live in harmony with nature, to take a responsible attitude to the problem of nature conservation and water resources
The tasks of our research are:
- find out what a spring is like, as one of the water resources
- find out how our ancestors treated the springs
- find out the causes of spring pollution
- show how to help springs.
What is a spring? A spring is the outlet of underground water to the earth's surface. Spring water is a priceless gift of nature. It brings health, restores strength, causes a sense of cheerfulness. Very often, springs are the beginning of a river. If the springs disappear, the rivers dry up, then there is a shallowing of large rivers.
In the distant past, our ancestors built their homes near springs, paved roads. The deep respect of the people for the springs has been established over the centuries.
I want to tell you about the springs on the territory of the village of Stary Menzelyabash. Dad says that before there were no water intake wells, everyone used spring water. There were many springs. The water was clean, delicious, without impurities.
Now our springs are in trouble. "Big spring", "Small spring", "Ahli", "Karan" - the water in these springs is not suitable for drinking. It is "marine". This is due to oil production activities. Leakage of industrial water, burst pipes-all this leads to contamination of the soil, groundwater. When there is a leak of oil water on the surface of the earth, most of it goes into the ground, and from there into the springs. That's why the water in our springs is salty.
Springs are also subject to pollution from heavy rains that carry atmospheric emissions from industrial enterprises, from mineral fertilizers from fields, from landfills. Their" contribution " is deliberately made by those who wash cars near springs, who leave broken bottles, cans , food leftovers.
Surprisingly, this disaster did not affect the Auliya spring. This spring has long been considered miraculous and healing. And now the water of "Aulia" is clean and delicious.
Thus, we have only just begun to understand the real price of water. What should I do? How to help springs? Since we do not use spring water, we have forgotten about them, although their condition requires great care and attention. It turned out that the fate of the springs was in the hands of man. We, young people, should do everything in our power: to study the history of springs, to involve our parents and the public in the problem of preserving springs. You must take care of the springs yourself. After high water, heavy rains, clean them from silt, mud, sand. You need to plant trees, take care of them.
Thus, if you take concrete actions, you can save springs, rivers, and seas.
