-I would like to tell you about the street named after the great Tatar poet and writer Abdulla Alish.

-Well, why did you choose this person?

-I want to tell you about this particular person, because he was our countryman and was born and raised in our district. He was born in the village of Kayuki, Spassky district. And now you see his native house in the village of Kayuki and a bust of him in the same village.

- Abdulla Alish is a Tatar poet, writer, author of collections of short stories for children, poems. He took up a story, a play, a poem. His book "Mother's Fairy Tales" was included in the golden fund of Tatar literature.

- I also know that he is a participant in the Great Patriotic War.

-Yes, that's right. Abdullah Alish went to the front. In October 1941, near Bryansk, he was captured and thrown into a concentration camp, where he met Musa Jalil. He was executed in 1944 in the Pletzensee military prison in Berlin. He was only 36 years old.

Only 15 poems of Alisha have come down to us – only a small part of what was created in a prison cell.
