All countries have their own money: in Russia - rubles, in France-francs, in Kazakhstan- tenge , in India-rupees, but whatever the name of money, it plays a huge role in the life of any country.
The aim is look at the bills and understand their images. The main tasks of my research: To collect information about banknotes in Great Britain To find proverbs about money To make an album for money
“banknote” means “a piece of printed paper that has a particular value as money” Avers – is a front side of money. Reverse - is another side of money.
Banknotes of Great Britain and Northern Ireland The official currency of the United Kingdom is the pound sterling £ which is equal to one hundred pence . English banknotes are issued by the Bank of England. As to coins they are minted also by this state bank. There are banknotes of the following denominations: £1, £5, £10, £20, £50 All the banknotes in the UK have a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the front and a famous historical person on the back.
Interesting facts : Bills printed in different regions differ in design. In Scotland they are brown, olive or green, and in Ireland they are grey, blue, purple or blue-green. Today, 1 pound costs about 105 rubles. In 2016, the UK paper money was changed to polymer plastic.

It replaced the cotton paper note featuring a portrait of naturalist Charles Darwin, first issued in 2000, was withdrawn from circulation on 1 March 2018.

M. W. Turner on the reverse. It replaced the cotton paper note featuring a portrait of economist Adam Smith, first issued in 2007.

The Bank of England has announced that a new polymer £50 note, featuring the image of computer scientist and World War II codebreaker Alan Turing, is to be issued "by the end of 2021"
The results of the survey What kind of money do you use more often: paper or electronic? 90% (18) of students more often use paper money. 10%(2) use electronic money.
The results of the survey Do you know such banknote as “pound”? 80% (16 ) of students know the word “pound”. 20 % ( 4) don`t know. But no one could tell what they depicted.
The results of the survey What is depicted on English banknotes? А . architectural buildings of cities B. portraits of political figures 50 % of students choose “architectural buildings of cities”. Another 50 % choose “portraits of political figures”.
The results of the survey 95% (19) of students answered “coin”. And they were right. But 5 % (1) answered “paper”
Продукт проекта Альбом для денег. Album for money As the product for our project, we decided to make an album for money. It is usually used by people who are fond of collecting banknotes ( bonistics ).
