THE SACRAMENT OF THE TEA CEREMONY IN THE TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF THE CHINESE PEOPLE
China is the hometown of tea. Chinese tea ceremony has a special meaning in the life of the Chinese people. It is quite a different way to drink tea than either traditional English style or Japanese tea ceremony.
Tea has had a great influence on the development of Chinese culture, and Chinese traditional culture is closely related to Chinese tea. Tea is often associated with literature, art and philosophy.
Chinese tea ceremony is a special ritual that aims a person to contemplation and pacification. Having the tea ceremony, people don’t just drink tea, but also brew it, enjoying the color, aroma and taste of the drink. The necessary condition for the ceremony is a calm state of mind. The special atmosphere of the ceremony is created by tea utensils, small exquisite dishes and quiet music. Music helps to create a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
Chinese tea ceremony is very popular not only in China but also abroad. The art of making and drinking tea sets people on a contemplative mood, helps to escape from the daily hustle and bustle, to share with others peace of mind and calmness.

The history of tea: In China tea has a very long history. According to the legend, tea was first discovered by the Chinese emperor and inventor Shen Nong more than 4000 years ago. He found tea to make himself safe and sound.
Types of Chinese tea:
There are about 1000 varieties of tea in China.
All this thousand stacked in six main categories of Chinese tea:

Tea development: At first, tea was used as a medicine. Later tea leaves were used as food.
As a kind of drink, tea became popular in the Tang dynasty and the Song dynasty. Today, tea is the most popular drink in China. It is drunk at home and at official events, meet this drink distinguished guests.
Chinese tea ceremony: The tea ceremony in China is called Kung fu tea ceremony. In Chinese traditional culture the tea ceremony has great importance and deep philosophical meaning. Chinese tea ceremony is not only to drink tea but is a way to enjoy the aroma and taste of tea, as well as a good technique for finding peace of mind.
