1. «Malaya Sosva» - is : а ) a reserve; b) a wildlife sanctuary; c) a national park? «Malaya Sosva » is a wildlife sanctuary . It is located in Sovietskiy and Berezovskiy districts of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra in a river valley of Malaya Sosva . “Malaya Sosva ” was created on February 17, 1976. It occupies the space of 225 562 hectares. The reserve has a security zone with a total area of 160 thousand hectares. Since 1977 the Upper- Kondinsky federal wildlife area of 241,6 thousand hectares is subordinated to the reserve " Malaya Sosva ”

2. This bird nests in our region and in England. It is impossible to meet it in our region in winter but in England it is a symbol of Christmas. What is it : а ) a bullfinch; b) a robin ; c) a goldcrest? From the middle of the 19th century the robin is an invariable symbol of Christmas in Great Britain. Zaryanka , or a robin ( Erithacus rubecula ) is very rare migratory nesting bird which is widespread in limits of an average and southern taiga. Robins arrive in our Khanty Mansy Okrug-Yugra in the middle of May. Basically they nest in June in needle-leaved , aspen and birch woods up to middle summers. A laying consists of 5-7 eggs. They look for foods on bushes, trees and on the ground. They eat various insects, spiders, small worms, wood lice and other invertebrates. They w illingly peck berries and seeds .
