At that time, the most important task was to establish trade relations. Naturally, the language of more developed countries was English and it was used for trade. T he main reason why English became international language is the discovery of The New World, America.

The fashion of American way of life The American Dream seemed ideal and people from different countries wanted to get closer to this ideal and language was one of this ways.
