                                   Introduction      

Dear friends. I am glad to meet you. First of all I' d like tell you about myself My name is Saryuna. I was born in Isinga on the 2nd of September 2003. Now I am in the 10th class. I am a good pupil. I am good at many subjects at school. I try to receive only good and excellent marks. My hobby is computer games. I think it is quite impossible to live without computers.   

   Now day everyone has a computer at home or at school. At our school almost every classroom has its computer. And of course children work and play on computer. As for me I spend much time on computer. I make projects, prepare reports, find information I need. But best of all i like playing computer games. My parents say that it is bad for me. They don't let me play computer games for a long time. That's why I decided to find out the role of computer games in the life of children, their impact on the children.

The aim of this work is to find if it is good or bad to play computer games.

     The objectives:

• To get to know the importance of computer games for children
• To know the rules of proper playing

    The hypothesis:

• It is good to play computer games because they improve imagination,

thinking and attention.

• It is bad to play computer games because they do children much harm.

2.1.1. Positive Points of Playing computer games

    There are different points of view on computer games. They are positive and negative. The need to understand computers has never been greater than it is today ever school operates computers and all the spheres of life depend on computers, so it is necessary for children to begin learning to use computers as  early  as possible. Children can start working on computers while playing computer games. Children who play computer games, are imaginative, they solve riddles and math problems more quickly than those who did not play games.

2.1.2. Negative points of playing computer games

    Computer games also make negative impact on children. First of all it is connected with the health. Spending too much time playing on a computer children become more over weight less active. Some children may become nervous, lose their contact with their friends.

2.2.1.  A review of the research finding

The time spent on computer games. Working on this paper I asked 50 students of our school how much time they spend on computer games. This graph shows that the most of the students spent 2 hours playing on a computer.

2.2.2. The hobbies of the children

Also, I asked the children about their hobbies. The students of the 1st, 5th, 7th forms like to play computer games. The students of 11th form prefer the internet to computer games. They like to communicate with each other using a computer.

2.2.3.Is it Good or Bad to Play Computer Games?

We wanted to know the children's opinions on computer games. Is it good or bad to play them? The students of the 1st, 5th, 7th forms think it is good. The students of the 11th form believe that it is bad. The most of the students it to be good to play games on a computer.

3.1. Conclusion

In conclusion, I can say some words for and against the games. We can't say that it is just good or bad. Computer games have their advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, they develop attention, imagination, critical thinking etc. On the other hand, playing computer games causes aggressive behavior, health problems, hypodynamia, addiction and lack of activity.

Children who are fond of playing computer games shouldn't give up other activities and interests like outdoor and sport activities.
