This is the Speaker. He presides over the House of Commons.

This is the Chamber of the House of Lords. The lords and ladies sit here. This chamber is also called the Parliament Camber.

This is the throne. When the Queen arrives in the House of Lords to open the Parliament, she sits on this.

This is Westminster Hall. This is the oldest part of the building. A lot of famous events and meetings have taken place here. It saw Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605, and in World War II bombs fell on it.
