Работа заняла третье место в IV Всероссийском конкурсе мультимедийных презентаций на иностранном языке "Страны изучаемого языка - вчера, сегодня, завтра" в номинации "Виртуальное путешествие". Конкурс проводился в 2017 году Молодежной редакцией профобразования "ПрофКонкурс".

The Shard The Shard is the highest building in London which was built in 2012 and it impressed the participants of the Olympic Games. The building is a glass pyramid and reminds a piece of ice with a height of 310 meters. There are offices, hotels, restaurants, apartments and an observation deck.

The Skyscraper 30 St Mary Axe A huge office building 30 St Mary Axe is known as the Gherkin. It is constructed of metal and glass and is situated in Central part London. It was opened in 2004 and its height is 180 metres. Now the building is occupied by the company "Swiss Reinsurance".

Tower bridge The Tower Bridge is located over the river Thames and it was designed by Horace Jones and Wolfe Barry. It was opened by King Edward VII in 1894 . The design is represented by two powerful Gothic towers which are 43 metres high and they are linked by galleries.

Big Ben Big Ben is the name of the biggest bell which is situated in the famous clock tower on the territory of the Palace of Westminster. The tower was built by the architect Augustus Pugin in 1859, its height is 96 meters. The clock dials are 7 metres in diameter.

Hyde Park is one of the largests Royal parks in London and popular holiday destination. Tourists come here to see the Speakers' Corner where orators can express their views and opinions (without a microphone). Ferris wheel "London eye" Ferris wheel "London Eye“ The opening of the attraction occurred in 1999. Its diameter is 136 m, which is approximately a height of a 45-storey building.
