Peles Castle

 This photo  was taken in 2013 when my family and I went to countries of southeastern Europe. One of the first countries that we have visited was Romania - "Land of  Vampires". It is the largest country in southeastern Europe. One of the most beautiful castles in the world is located here. Peleş Castle is a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture, considered  by many one of the most stunning castles in Europe. It is located in the Carpathians on the medieval route connecting Transylvania and Wallachia, near the city of Sinai. The construction of the palace was carried out by King Karol I and his wife Elizabeth.

I have seen many castles but never one as magnificent as this. The architecture of the castle combines many different directions. This mixture of styles overwhelms the visitors rather than delights.

Inside, most of its interior is made of different expensive wood. There is a large collection of paintings, carpets and weapons there. The exterior of the castle impresses with its painted walls, stained-glass windows, sculptures.

 There is so much to see and admire there. There are mountains all around the castle and it gives you the feeling that you've stepped in a fairytale! Everyone who loves travelling, history and picturesque places should visit this place.
