There are a lot of inventions in the world. New inventions appear every day to make our lives easier, longer, warmer, faster, and so on. Many of inventions have literally transformed the world . But only a few inventors design a new machine or product that becomes so best-known all over the world.

Isaac Newton Sir Isaac Newton was a famous physicist, mathematician and astronomer . He was born in a small village near Cambridge in 1642 in the family of a poor farmer. His father died before Isaac’s birth. His first inventions were a sundial and a clepsydra. Newton made them when he was a child. Isaac was a student at the University of Cambridge. Newton studied mathematics there. During those years Isaac Newton made such discoveries as the law of gravitation, decomposition of light and the method of fluxions . Later he became a professor of mathematics and optics . Newton is also known as one of the authors of the theory of differential calculus.

Sergei Pavlovich Korolyov 1) Sergei Korolyov devoted his life to rocket research, constructing artificial satellites. He was a Rocket engineer and designer, “Father” of the space program. History changed on October 4, 1957, when the Soviet Union successfully launched Sputnik I.
