Geographical position Moscow is the biggest city of Russia and it is the capital of our country. The city is situated on the Moskva River. Moscow is in the center of the European part of Russia . The territory of city makes 2550 km ². The rivers of Moscow are: the Moscow-river, Volga, Oka, Klyazma. Near Moscow there are about 400 rivers and it has a lot of lakes.

Moscow has many names : the most known is 'Three Rome' because Moscow is the center of monarchy and 'Moscow Belokamennaya' because the city has been made of white stones! There are the Kremlin and the Red Square, the Bolshoi and Maly -Theaters, the Historical Museum and many other sights.
