Pyramids of Cheops The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped masonry structures located in Egypt . The most famous Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo. Several of the Giza pyramids are counted among the largest structures ever built.

Hanging Gardens of Babylon This is one of the seven great wonders of the world, which is called the top of the garden art. It was situated in Babylon, the capital of the ancient state of Mesopotamia. To the present day this magnificent building has survived. According to one version they were built for the wife of the Babylonian king.

Statue of Zeus The statue of Zeus was commissioned by the Eleans , custodians of the Olympic Games, in the latter half of the fifth century BC for their recently constructed Temple of Zeus. Seeking to outdo their Athenian rivals, the Eleans employed the renowned sculptor Phidias, who had previously made the massive statue of Athena Parthenos in the Parthenon.
