The purpose : To investigate the most dangerous accidents happened to students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, find their reasons and make some recommendations to prevent such cases in the future . ______________________________________________________________________________________ Methods used : theoretical (the analysis of J. K. Rowling’s books about Harry Potter), IT methods (surfing the Internet in search of the illustrative material and using the graphic to illustrate recommendations), brainstorm (finding the reasons and making recommendations). The outcome : Recommendations to the school authorities how to prevent the accidents at school in the future.

Work planning: To read the first six books about Harry Potter in Russian in order to find the most outrageous cases threatening to the students’ health and life. To find these episodes in the original English editions and sum up the facts. To conclude the reasons of the cases. To search the Internet for the illustrations. To make recommendations for prevention of such cases. To design the project. To present the project in public.

Reasons caused the accidents Working with books we found the most dangerous accidents at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We believe that they were caused by the four following reasons: Existence of dangerous magical places, locations and creatures which are out of control in the schcool building and at the campus. Safety violations in class made not only by students but also teachers. Lack of safety measures providing by school administration during Quidditch matches, different out-of-school activities and detentions. The Headmaster’s irresponsible policy of recruitment of the teaching personnel causing the appearance of unqualified and even dangerous employees.
