The Museum of Transport One of the most popular museums of transport in the UK is located in Glasgow. Founded in 1964, it houses the oldest surviving pedal cycle and the world’s leading collection of Scottish-built cars are represented.

The Scottish Football Museum The Scottish Football Association’s National Museum of Football is located in Glasgow. The museum houses over 2000 objects of football memorabilia, including the world’s oldest cap and match ticket, from the 1 st international match of 1872.

The Museum of Ayrshire Country Life and Costume It is located in Dalgarven Mill, near Kilwinning , North Ayshire . The watermill has been restored over a number of years and now houses a collection of Ayrshire farming and domestic memorabilia. Displays include the themes of ploughing , threshing, harvesting and the village smithy.

Aberdeen Maritime Museum It is situated on the historic Shiprow in the Aberdeen, near the harbour . Collections cover shipbuilding, fast sailing ships, fishing and port history, and displays of the North Sea oil industry.
