The Parents Of Maria The parents of Mary, the English king Henry VIII Tudor and Catherine of Aragon, the youngest Spanish Princess. The Tudor dynasty at that time was still very young, and Henry was only the second ruler of England, relating thereto.

Her childhood In 1516, Queen Catherine gave birth to a daughter Mary . The girl's father was disappointed, but hoped for the future heirs. Mary was a jewel in his crown. He admired the hard and severe character of his daughter. The girl was crying very rarely. She studied diligently. The teachers taught her Latin, English, music, Greek, to play the harpsichord and dance. The future Queen Mary was interested in Christian literature. She was very attracted by the stories about the virgin and ancient warriors.

The Reign Of Mary I Came to the throne in 1553. The country was poor. Maria brought to herself those who were among her opponents. She hoped that they could help her. The reconstruction of the country began with the revival (возрождение) of the Catholic faith . Many monasteries were rebuilt. During the reign of Mary there were many executions of Protestants. P eople suffered dying for faith. About 300 people were burned. Among them were Latimer, Ridley, Cramner and other hierarchs (архиепископы) of the Church. The Queen ordered not to spare even those who were willing to become Catholics when faced the fire. Thus Mary had the nickname Bloody.

The execution of Jane and her husband Bloody Mary, whose biography often presented in dark colors, was not violent by nature. She could not send her cousin to the scaffold ( эшафот) . Why is Bloody Mary still supposed to do it? She understood that Jane was just a pawn ( пешка) in the hands of others, who did not want her to become Queen. The court over it and over her husband was initially conceived simply as a formality. Mary the Queen wanted to forgive the couple. However, it was decided that Jane T. Wyatt could cause rebellion which began in January 1554 12 February. Jane and Guildford were beheaded.

The Marriage She married the son of Charles V Philip (in 1554) who was 12 years younger than her. H e could not interfere in the ruling of the country. The British disliked the spouse of the Queen. Philip was arrogant and pompous. Bloody clashes between the Spaniards and the British happened in the streets after the arrival of Philip

I llness and death I n 1557 the re was a fever in the country. Many people died. In 1558 Maria fell ill . She suffered from headache, insomnia . She became very weak. She appointed Elizabeth her sister to be the Queen. Mary died on 17 November of the same year. The remains of Mary were buried in Westminster Abbey. The throne after her death, was inherited by Elizabeth I.
