GREECE Women's day in this country is called "Gynaikratia" and is held on 8 January. In the Northern area of the country a festival of women is held , the spouses switch roles - the women go to rest, and the men give them presents and at the time turned into a caring housewives. March 8 in Greece is a very ordinary day. Except in the media about hi a couple of phrases about the never-ending struggle of women for their rights appear . Instead of 8 March in Greece Mother's Day (2nd Sunday in may) is celebrated. And purely symbolically to express respect to the main woman in the family.

INDIA On the 8th of March, the country celebrates a different holiday. Namely, Holi or Festival of Colors.
