Should cruise liners be banned from the Arctic ?

             Once upon a time on the coldest, driest, and windiest continent, animals gathered together to organize their meeting, called “Should cruise liners be banned from the Arctic.?”

The polar bear was appointed the chairman of the meeting.

       Some  penguins, and seabirds, rushed to agree that cruise liners with arctic tourists have made their lives more interesting and easier. For example cruisers give food and live some unusual things: bags, and plates for the orchestra. Some females were in proud to demonstrate these things.

Most of the animals such as seals, whales claimed strongly a total ban on tourists from the arctic because there will be many positive aspects to banning cruise liners from their territory.

To begin with, it would help to reduce air and noise pollution.

For example the engines’ noisy disturb the whale’s communication.

The snowmobile safaris and shallow-draft boats’ journeys destroy the arctic’s peculiar beauty and tranquility.

Moreover the carbon dioxide from liners exhausts is seriously harming the environment and the health of animals. The litter   is washed into the sea and becomes marine litter. Birds, fish and mammals confuse litter for food and eat it.

In addition large, intelligent, whales agreed that clever decision would make the Arctic a more pleasant place to breeding of humpback whales.

The cunning arctic foxes, declared, that on the other hand banning Arctic cruises would have its disadvantages.

Firstly animals won’t get publicity and food any more. There is nothing to worry about, said  foxes,  because many people come  to them just for the wildlife, to take photos of animals, stare at bears .

Furthermore doing their researches two legs people sometimes could have paid their attention how to save the Arctic environment.

At this moment all remembered about the chairman, the Polar bear was in deep, heavy sleep, dreaming about adventurous activities, and sea fishing.

His secretary the emperor penguin tried to wake him up beating the orchestra plates, all attempts were in vain.

All things considered, although there are many advantages to  passing cruise liners arctic animals strongly argue that it would be better in the long run if cruise liners were banned from the Arctic at all .
