There are different types of animals, all of them very important for nature. There are two types of animals : domestic and wild. Domestic animals, which we often call pets are very dear to people. However, wild animals can be rather dangerous for human beings. Lions, tigers, bears, wolves, foxes and many others are wild.

A bear is a true symbol of the wildlife. A bear is a very large and powerful animal well known to anyone. They are usually quite furry and can be brown or white (polar bears ) .

An elephant is an extremely powerful and quite symbolic animal that is currently the largest of land mammals. At present there are two species of elephants: African and Indian.

A tiger is a great wild animal of tremendous beauty, grace and strength. A tiger is one of the largest cats on the Erath but the number of these animals is decreasing.

A fox is one of the most cunning, agile and wary wild animals. It hunts mainly in the daytime, but can easily chase after a prey at night. Thе red predator has an ability to see in low light conditions.

Wolves are wild animals. They look very much like big domestic dogs. Usually wolves are grey with long fluffy tails, their hair is long and thick. Wolves are famous for their strong sharp teeth. They have long enduring legs and big paws.

All animals living near us are called domestic . Domestic animals play a very important role in people’s lives.

While people take care of them, they give something useful in return. For example, chickens give eggs, cows give milk, dogs protect people, cats catch mice, sheep can give fur etc.
