1)The modern symbol of England – red rose with white stamens. This symbol combines the symbols of the two genera, warring York (white rose) and Lancaster (red rose). Two feuded for many years, trying to figure out who will rule the country. In 1455, the feud escalated to a war, which lasted until 1485. The thirty years ' war drew a line under the English middle ages, becoming the beginning of the birth of new England. The winning symbol was the symbol of England is red rose. This underlined the superiority of one kind over the other. Scarlet rose was used in the Crusades, becoming known outside of England and symbolizing its greatness.

2)The national flag of this country is a white flag with a red upright cross of St. George. The first mention of this symbol of the state dates back to 1545. According to one version, in the distant 1275, in the Welsh war, the Cross was used as the emblem of that country, but to the flag until he had nothing.

3)He current coat of arms of England was established by Richard the Lionheart in the late X century – on a red field adorned with three gold leopards (striding lion). Before that had another coat of arms, which was adorned with one lion. The hundred years  war and the coronation of Edward III to the French throne added to the lions, French lilies that adorned the coat of arms until the beginning of the XV century.
