The first wreck ("Super-61 minutes") During loading of the column over the area of operation of the RPG fire from close range (from the roof) was shot down the helicopter landing 1st subgroup (MH-60 "Black Hawk" call "Super-61" under the command of C. Gary Gordon Gary Ivan Gordon (August 30, 1960 – October 3, 1993) was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army and a recipient of the Medal of Honor. At the time of his death, he was a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army's premier special operations unit, the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1SFOD-D), or "Delta Force". Together with his comrade, Sergeant First Class Randy Shughart , Gordon was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for actions he performed during the Battle of Mogadishu in October 1993.
