Monument is located on the spit of the Moscow River on the Crimean coast. The total height of the monument 98 metres the highest in Russia and one of the largest sculptural monuments in the world. The monument is a post on the granite basis, which is crowned by a bronze giant swallowtail, on which a statue of Peter I and base pedestal mounted fountains.
