In all countries different colours have different associations. People respond to them in different ways. The colour produces a certain psychological and physiological effect on a person. People’s reaction to colours is subconscious and instinctive and certain colours are tied with certain notions .

Warm colours are made with orange, red, yellow and combinations of them all. As the name indicates, they tend to make you think of sunlight and heat, which is why they're often used to make large rooms look cozier. Cool colours such as blue, green and light purple have the ability to calm and soothe. Where warm colors remind us of heat and sunshine, cool colors remind us of water and sky. Unlike warm colors, cool colours look as though they recede, making them great for small rooms you want to look larger.

Blue Blue has a calming effect and it helps you sleep. That is why blue is a good colour for bedroom. However, too much blue could dampen spirit (that’s why when we feel sad we are “feeling blue”). Navy blue is a common uniforms for sailors or the police. A deep blue is associated with richness and royalty.
