Слайд 1. It`s me.

My name is Lera. I’m 11 years old and I’m a secondary school student. I have several hobbies which make my day diverse and interesting.

Слайд 2. What`s a hobby?

Hobby is a favourite occupation of a person in his free time. I have many friends. They are very different and they have different kinds of hobbies.

Слайд 3. I like drawing.

As for me, one of them is drawing pictures. This is an important part of my life. It makes me feel relaxed when I am busy. I like the feeling of creating something on my own. I have studied for 3 years at Art School.

I often take part in different art competitions. I have won most of them and it makes my mother to be proud of me.

Слайд 5. I am keen on reading books.

I am keen on reading books. I enjoy it very much. And it doesn’t matter what kind of book it is. It can be a collection of short stories, an interesting novel or a book of poems. I equally enjoy them all. I like the graceful words and the emotion that the author wanted to express.

Слайд 6. I adore swimming and skating.

Moreover, I adore swimming and skating. There are some sports centers in my town where I can do both of these sports. I think sport is a great opportunity to stay healthy and in a good mood. I’m lucky because my two best friends also share my hobbies. (Сюда желательно вставить хотя бы одну фотографию как вы или плаваете, или катаетесь на коньках с кем-нибудь из девочек)

Слайд 7. I enjoy beadwork.

Apart from doing sport, I enjoy beadwork. I like weaving different objects out of beads but the most favourite of them is ~Fenichka~. Hippies have it as a special symbol. One of the most famous slogans of the hippies: “ Make love, not war!” So, I have already made some bracelets for my relatives and my friends as a sign of love and friendship.

Another interest that I have is travelling. My parents sometimes let me travel with them to other countries and I like practicing my English there. I study English and German at school. But English is more popular language among the tourists. Last year, me and my parents were in Egypt and local people could speak English, which was a good chance for me.

To sum up, I’d like to say that it’s important to have some hobbies. Hobbies differ like tastes. But if you have chosen a hobby according to your character and taste, you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting and happier.
