One day everyone face the problems of teen years. There are always a lot of arguments about whether it is easy or not to be young. Let’s see: there are many topics to talk about, because when we are young we are neither already kids, nor adults yet. That’s why we have so much questions, like: “What is right for me”, “What should I do?”, “How should I behave to make people loving me?” and so on. I’d like to tell about the most popular teens’ topics: school, parents, mates’ pressure, drugs and love.

School. What does it mean for you? It is undoubtedly, that the most important influence on teenagers is the influence of school. School is not only a place, where you can find out something new and interesting or chat with your friends. It is also a place, where you socialize, gain experience, learn how to behave in different situations. Even if you think, you do not need to study at school, you should realize, that almost all qualities you have now, you have only due to school.

Parents or “Why on Earth should I listen to their pieces of advice?” But before you went to school, and even before kindergarten, your parents had taken care of you. Frankly speaking, Majority of people you meet in life disappear some day. Family is the only group of people who will always love you for or despite of what you are doing. A lot of problems with them could be solved if sometimes we imagined ourselves in their shoes. Because, if we did it we would understand, that 1a.m. was really late and if you came home drunk it meant you were hanging out not with the right guys.

Mates’ pressure Classmates’ and friends’ opinions are really a big deal. Because when you are about sixteen, you spend a lot of your time with guys of the same age. It means, that your lifestyle, habits, sometimes even hobbies depend on group’s interests. Sometimes you choose a group, sometimes –vice versa, but when you are in group you’re supposed to be liked by others. Here is the problem. Usually there are two and a half ways to deal with situation. First: to do all this stuff your friends do. Second: to do things the way you used to do it. Media way: one half you do with a group and second half on your own. Of course, compromises are good, but not here. You can show yourself up as a a weak person sometimes. I think, people should try to be respected for their own views. Only when everyone is a personality, you can say, that it is a real group of friends, not just a group for one- night party.

Drugs & alcohol One of the most popular form of mates’ pressure is suggestions to try drugs or alcohol. Nowadays it’s the most important problem among teenagers. However, I think, that it’s not so difficult just to follow some advice. If parents are for healthy lifestyle and do not have bad habits it can reduce a possibility of child got involved in “bad company”. Just because an ideal plays a great role in children’s lives. Moreover, If parents neither smother their children with care nor let them do anything they want it can help to grow a thinking and responsible person Also, children should know a lot about a harm of bad habits. And for teens: if you want your parents think you are an adult, do not think how to prove it, just be an adult: think and be responsible for your actions.

It seems to me that I observed all popular teen problems and I can say: I assume, that all of these problems is easy to solve, but it would take a lot of time, wish and people opened for changes in their mind. So, it’s easy only when you’re talking about it. Not when you’re trying to deal with it. The question was: “Is it easy to be young?”. And the answer is: “not in the real world”.
