Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian polymath : painter , sculptor , architect , musician , scientist , mathematician , engineer , inventor and writer .

His most famous works are Mona Lisa , The Last Supper , The Vitruvian Man . T he Mona Lisa has been the most imitated artwork of all t ime . T he Vitruvian Man shows the fusion of Art and Science.

He made numerous inventions in the fields of anatomy , engineering , optics , and hydrodynamics . He invented a helicopter, a tank, solar power and a calculator .

He was born in Florence. His father was a notary and his mother was a peasant. He spent his first five years in the ho use of his mother, then he lived with his father .

Leonardo studied at the studio of the famous painter, Verrocchio . He got his first commission in Florence in 1478. Then he worked in Milan and Rome.

Audrey Kathleen Ruston Audrey Kathleen Ruston was born on the 4 of May in 1929, in Ixelles, Belgium. Her other name was Edda van Heemstra .

Her family. She married Mel Ferrer in 1954. They had a son Sean. They divorced in 1968. In 1969 she married Andrea Dotti. They had a daughter Luca. They divorced in 1982.

Her career. Audrey Hepbern was a famous actress. Her career started in 1948. In 1952 she played the lead female role in Roman Holiday. Her best films were Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday, War and Peace, Sabrina and Wait Until Dark.

Alexander Graham Bell, American inventor and teacher of the deaf, most famous for his invention of the telephone. Alexander Graham Bell was born on 3 rd March, in Edinburgh in 1847. When he was eleven, Bell invented a machine that could clean wheat. At the age of 13 he graduated from Edinburgh’s Royal High School. At the age of 16 he began to work as a teacher, at the Academy Weston House . His parents had lost two children to tuberculosis, and they insisted that the best way to save their last child was to leave England.

Bell believed that he could solve the problem of sending a human voice over a wire. Alexander G raham Bell invented telephone in 1876.

Bell had other inventions as well -- his own home had a precursor to modern day air conditioning.His last patent, at the age of 75, was for the fastest hydrofoil yet invented. Bell devoted science and technology. He also is one of the founders of Science magazine. Bell died on August 2, 1922. On the day of his burial, all telephone service in the US was stopped for one minute in his honor.
