The project “Alcohol and living organisms” It is made by the group of pupils : Silkov Sergej , Druzilevich Denis. Our teacher is Lidiya Vladimirovna Krasnova .

Our working hypothesis is: Alcohol influences on our body and health. Our aim: to prove that our health depends on us

We have to work on some tasks: -to make a survey among 9, 10,11 formers -to make an experience with an onion, -to keep a look –out during some days, -to write out new English words (Make a vocabulary), -to learn to use Past\Present Passive, -to take some photos, -to make the project, -to present this project, - to be ready to answer the questions

Pupils of our school answered 12 questions about alcohol. These are the results:

So we can see: a lot of 9, 10, 11 formers have already some experience with alcohol..

If my health depends me? We want to know the answer to this question. An adult life. What is it? We think we have to solve a lot of problems in our future. For example : alcohol – good or bad. We want to make an experiment. How does alcohol affect the onion?

The first day. We take two onions.

We put them in two glasses. In one glass we pour clean water and into another- 30% of water and 70% of the alcohol. We’ll watch our onion .

On the fifth day in the glass with alcohol the onion is not green. It has no roots.

In some days we see this picture… In the glass with water the onion is green. It has roots.

So what does it mean? We can come to the conclusion: alcohol influences badly on onion. We can suppose that alcohol influences badly on the human body too. It is harmful to drink alcohol!

It is very important for parents and children to get more information about negative influence of alcohol on the living organisms.
