Mу Fantastic Summer Adventure.

  Hello! My name is Kalashnikova Sofia. I live in the North of Russia, in Severomorsk.  Severomorsk is a small town. It is the capital of the Northern Navy. I live with my mother and farther.   My farther is a military man. I am in the 6th year.  I study at school № 7.  I like English very much.  All the year I was waiting for my summer holidays. It was the 1st of July when my school year finished  and my  summer adventure began.  

    First my parents and I went to Moscow. It was for the first time I visited Moscow. Moscow is a very big city, much bigger than Severomorsk.  In Moscow I went to the zoo with my parents. I haven’t visited a zoo before.  And I asked my parents to show me Moscow zoo.  It was fantastic, large and clean. We spent all day there.  There were many animals. They were in special cages.   In the zoo we saw   tigers, lions, monkeys, horses, giraffes, white bears, foxes, wolves, ducks, and zebras. They were real and it was interesting for me to see real animals, because I saw them in books only.  

We saw a very funny white bear. It was very big. And there was snow in its cage, it was unreal. The bear was playing with a ball and a lot of visitors were watching it.  

I saw a very big cage with insects and butterflies. They were so small! It was very exciting to see so many butterflies! They were very beautiful.  

    At the end of this day we were very hungry and we found a nice McDonalds. It was my first visit to this café. We ate hamburgers and drank Cola. It was not useful, but tasty!  

     In the evening we went to the station and took a train to Kostroma to visit my grandparents.   Yakshanga   is a village in Kostroma region.  My grandparents live in a big house.  I spent the rest of my summer holidays there.   I was so impressed with Moscow zoo and butterflies that I decided to make a collection of my own photos of them. Every day I took my mum`s camera walked through the fields and took pictures of different butterflies. It was so difficult to find a butterfly and then take a photo of it! But I managed to make a lot. It was very interesting for me. Maybe I will be a scientist in future.
