Many people love animals. Some of them have got more than three pets.

But nobody begins to think of all that thousands of stray animals live in the streets. They have got nothing to eat; they have no shelter and of course an affectionate master.

People should help stray cats and dogs by feeding, taking home such animals. People shouldn’t “throw away” their pets into the streets. Abandoned and offended animal can have a grievance against people.

The aim of our project : to find reasons of stray animals’ advent in the streets. The problem of the project: there is deficit of animals’ nursery gardens. Stray animals’ incidents of aggression and attack on people. The topic of the project: stray animals in different countries. The object of the project: stray animals.

The subject of the project: stray animals’ protection. The hypothesis of the project: “Is it possible to decrease the number of stray animals in the streets?” The tasks: to find out how people behave to stray animals.

The problem of stray animals in the streets is certainly something which is often discussed in today’s world. Statistically an animal is lost every 30 seconds.

Questionnaire survey We have interviewed 150 pupils of our school. The answers were different. In accordance with our questionnaire survey, people very much love animals. They have three or more pets, and all the pets are different.

Conclusion The plight of strays is one of the most visible animal welfare problems in the world today. Dogs are one of the most affected animals - of the estimated 500 million dogs in the world, approximately 75% are strays.

Sometimes because the lack of food the animals attack people. There should be more nursery gardens for animals in our country. People must be better and if they can, they should take animals in their homes.

We must work to avoid disorder and troubles connected with stray animals. People should be educated about responsible pet ownership: dog identification, vaccination and neutering means fewer animals will end up on the street.

We must help stray animals. Some people feed up stray animals but it’s not enough: they need habitation, good food and care.
