                                               Altai is worth visiting!

 It isn’t hard to find Altai. Take a look at the map of the world. You will see a tiny yellow flag in the center of Eurasia. That is Altay Region. It is my motherland.  It was not for political reasons that the yellow color was chosen. The word Altai comes from the Turkic “altan”, meaning “golden”. Driving Altai region, we can see fields of wheat, sunflower - gold of our steppes. However beautiful our region is, its people want to see something new. The choice of our family was Mountain Altai.

   I was surprised at it is high mountains, crystal clear rivers, a variety of plants. I climbed the small mountains, but the rock I was able only see.

    I liked the fern very much. Beautiful large bushes filled all the space. Do you know the legend of the flowering fern on the night of Ivan Kupala? Unfortunately we went away on the 6th of July

   Some time we lived at the river. It is true that the rivers of Mountain Altai are cold, clear and fast. It is better not to swim there.

   As you know, the Mountain Altai borders on China, Mongolia and Kazakhstan. I was shown the location of the border on China, we were very close.

   Rock drawing, stone idols…  Mountain Altai is rich in them. In the caves, I saw Tavda’s brownie. It keeps order and peace in the caves.

  How numerous are the world of praise that Altai nature is addressed with! Altai is worth visiting.
