School №2038, 4 A class,teacher-Zayarnaya T.G. Summary The storks told us the story of the Marsh King’s daughter. The first stork pair lived in the nest on the roof of the Viking’s house. The first Egyptian princess flew to the north to get the flowers for her sick father. When she dipped into the water to get the flowers, the two swans tore her dress. The Marsh King took the princess in the marsh. The little girl came from the cup of the flower.

School №2038, 4 A class,teacher-Zayarnaya T.G. Review I liked Part 1 of this story by Andersen. It took place in Jutland. The main characters were the storks, the swans, the Marsh King. At the beginning I thought the swans were kind. As it turned out they were cruel. When the swan princess dipped down into the water to get flowers, the two other swans tore the swan’s plumage. The princess fell into the water and sank.
